The Eyevolve app and lounge. Eyevolve lounges are positioned at various leading colleges and educational institutes, for a few days at a time. At these lounges, students and faculty of the college can avail of free eye check-ups, free contact lens trials by expert optometrists and tips about maintaining good eye health. Visitors can meet eye experts and learn more about using contact lenses and taking care of their eye sight. These lounges aim to offer expert eye care in clean, hygienic conditions.
Eyevolve app is a fun app that helps college students and faculty to register for a free appointment at the Eyevolve lounge. Once an app user’s profile is created, he or she can schedule appointment at the Eyevolve lounge and receive regular messages about eye care.
Eyevolve uses beacons and GPS to identify and send messages to users.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
